Meet Celebrity Chef & Authors:
Chef James Briscione & Brooke Parkhurst

WSRE welcomes Brooke Parkhurst and James Briscione, authors of the May 2011 release Just Married & Cooking, an indispensable cookbook and entertaining guide (with a Southern accent) for the newly married and kitchen challenged. Parkhurst, a food writer and native of Pensacola, and Briscione, a New York City chef and Food Network champion on “Chopped” and “Chopped Champions,” used their mutual love of cooking and all things Southern to successfully pursue their ambitions in New York City.

Meet the fab duo at our Sunday event, the Grand Slam Taste of WSRE, at the Pensacola Civic Center where they will be signing copies of their book for purchase and showcasing favorite recipes during two cooking demonstrations. Six lucky guests will get to taste what they prepare during each of the demos!
