Amos Studio

WSRE’s newest addition, The Jean and Paul Amos Performance Studio, is an 10,000 square foot television studio which can accommodate a variety of events. Located on the west side of WSRE TV on the Pensacola Junior College Campus, the studio can be used as a performance venue, large event location or as a sound stage. In addition to our own local television shows, to date we’ve been a venue for concerts, lectures, fashion shows, recitals, pageants, and plays.

The main goal of the Jean and Paul Amos Performance Studio is to be a community resource and provide educational outreach. Funding for construction of the studio came from many sources: support from major donors, matching dollars from the state legislature and the lead gift ($500,000) of the Future Vision Capital Campaign made in honor of northwest Florida natives Jean and Paul Amos. Philanthropists Jean Amos, a native Pensacolian, and Paul Amos, co-founder of AFLAC, reside in Columbus, GA.

More information about the Amos Studio will be posted soon.
