Technical Specifications
The Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio is equipped with three sound boards with the house mix located in the center of the audience allowing the audio director to achieve the best possible sound level for your event. A large array of microphones, stands, stage monitors and other equipment are available to fit your needs.
Lighting in the studio is a sophisticated, computer-driven network of 182 dimmers controlled by an ETC Insight 3 console. This system is capable of creating a nearly unlimited array of lighting effects for any event with minimum technical rehearsal time. Our experienced lighting director will meet with you to help determine the lighting required for your event, and will offer guidance throughout the process.

The Amos Studio is equipped for high-definition productions. Equipment available for your event includes a 10 foot jib, Grass Valley Kayak switcher, Avid Deko HD CG, and up to 6 Sony HD cameras. The studio can be used for airing live productions on WSRE or for taping in high-definition to broadcast at a later date.
As a PBS affiliate, WSRE-TV's HD cameras and HD nonlinear editing equipment are available to clients, cable and national broadcasters to cover local and regional stories of national interest. WSRE-TV serves many of the major over the air and cable networks as well as other clients on a limited basis, offering fixed uplink services and fully redundant Ku SD digital equipment. The studio uplink facilities have capability of feeding Beta SP, DV Cam, and DVC Pro tape.
