Perhaps best known as the home of the Blue Angels and of the world-class National Naval Aviation Museum, NAS Pensacola also features the tallest lighthouse on the Gulf Coast, the 1698 site of the first permanent settlement of Pensacola, a national cemetery, the Fort Barrancas National Park site and a variety of historic homes and structures, all situated on a spectacularly scenic peninsula.
