Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree and two years experience in television production and or/directing. Progressively responsible experience may substitute for the required degree. Submission of a demo tape/DVD with application required. Successful results of a background check are required. Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, and have a flexible work schedule including nights and weekends. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with final Cut Pro and Photoshop. Experience with Betacam SP and HDCAM.
Duties: The Director will direct a variety of television programs including, but not limited to, coordination and scheduling of production equipment, personnel and facilities. Edits, and creates graphics for, documentaries, programs, promotional spots and other interstitial material. Provides technical support for special projects and events. Plans, schedules and supervises all setups, surveys, and technical requirements for productions. Edits program elements into assembled productions. Trains/supervises appropriate personnel in all phases of television production. Demonstrates technical skills in broadcast camera/videography, non-linear video editing, live directing/technical directing of television programs, field and studio production lighting and audio.
Salary: 27,000.00 - 41,500.00
