Glamour and Class…With a Little "Southern Sass" at WSRE's Southern & Sassy Annual Tea Party on May 6

Pensacola, Fla. — Glamour and class… with a little “Southern Sass.” Y’all won’t want to miss WSRE’s Southern & Sassy Annual Tea Party on Sunday, May 6 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Pensacola Yacht Club!

Put on your best broad-brimmed hat and party gloves as the area’s Southern belles gather for an afternoon of scrumptious hors d’oeuvres and tasty beverages by Chef Artie Gless. Delight in the enchanting surroundings of the Pensacola Yacht Club as the captivating jazz music of Al Martin transforms the afternoon. You’ll laugh your “sass” off with “Somethin' to Talk About” — a humorous presentation between southern girlfriends by Becca Boles and Meg Peltier. All proceeds benefit the mission of WSRE, PBS for the Gulf Coast.

Tickets are $40 per person. Purchase tickets online at or by calling (850) 484-1054 during normal business hours Monday-Friday.

Businesses that are helping to make this fundraiser possible include: Gulf Power Co.; Cox Communications; Pensacola News Journal; Bella Magazine; Dlux Printing; Republic National Distributing Company; WEAR; WFGX; and Penton House Salon and Spa.
