Gulf Power's Stan Connally Discusses Technology and Electricity
on Conversations with Jeff Weeks February 14
Pensacola, Fla. — Thursday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m. WSRE’s, “Conversations with Jeff Weeks” welcomes Stan Connally, Gulf Power President and CEO. Connally shares his insights with Jeff about how technology is changing the way we get our electricity, the future of nuclear power and the recovering economy.
A mechanical engineer by training, Connally’s career with Southern Company, the parent company of Gulf Power, has been quite diverse. Beginning as a co-op student at Georgia Power, Connally has risen through the ranks, holding positions in customer operations, sales and marketing, power generation and engineering. In addition to running Gulf Power, Connally is on the board of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise Florida and the James Madison Institute.
“Conversations with Jeff Weeks” is a half-hour, weekly series that is “personality-driven,” featuring in-depth discussions with unique individuals and leading newsmakers from all walks of life. The program airs Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. on WSRE, PBS for the Gulf Coast.
