Tenth Annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest

Children from kindergarten to third grade are encouraged to write and illustrate their own stories and enter them in the Fourteenth Annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest. These stories will be judged locally and the winners submitted to the national contest. View the flyer.

The Prizes: Winning entries from the local contest will receive READING RAINBOW books and prizes from WSRE. Also, the winning entries that are submitted to the national contest will be eligible for the national awards.

Once the submissions have been received and judged, WSRE will post the 2008 winning entries online. For now, read the 2007 local winners' stories. Also, read the national winners' stories here.
