Tenth Annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest

January 7, 2008 - March 21, 2008

Children from kindergarten to third grade were encouraged to write and illustrate their own stories and enter them in the Fourteenth Annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest. These stories were judged locally and the winners were submitted to the national contest. View the flyer.

The Prizes: Winning entries from the local contest will receive READING RAINBOW books and prizes from WSRE. Also, the winning entries that are submitted to the national contest will be eligible for the national awards.

Once the submissions have been received and judged, WSRE will post the 2008 winning entries online. Read the 2007 local winners' stories. Also, read the national winners' stories here.
